Website, web CMS and WhatsApp-based EV charging services

Version 0.1 | Prepared: 9 October 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to savekar.com, the Savekar web-based charge point management system (CMS), and charging services facilitated through the Savekar platform, including WhatsApp-based charging, where applicable. The services are provided by Savekar EV Charging Solution ("Savekar", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing the website, using the CMS, or proceeding with a charging transaction facilitated by the platform, you agree to the Terms that apply to that activity. Separate written commercial terms, order forms or partner agreements may apply to business customers and will govern if they specifically address a matter differently.

3. Definitions

  • “CMS” means Savekar’s web-based charge point management software and related operational tools.
  • “Charging Station” or “Station” means a physical EV charging location and its associated charging equipment.
  • “Station Administrator” means the owner, operator or authorised administrator responsible for the relevant station and its local operating arrangements.
  • “White-label Partner” means a business using or reselling the Savekar platform under its own brand or customer-facing arrangement.
  • “Driver” or “User” means a person who accesses a charging service facilitated by the platform.
  • “Charging Session” means a period in which an EV charger supplies energy to a vehicle, as recorded by the charger and/or CMS.
  • “Payment Provider” means Razorpay and, where relevant, a bank, UPI app or other payment institution involved in a transaction.

4. Services and service scope

Savekar provides EV charging software and related services. Depending on the plan, deployment and configuration, services may include charger connectivity and management, session monitoring and records, operational reporting, tariff configuration, alerts and diagnostics, WhatsApp-based charging communications, payment coordination, APIs, white-label functionality and roaming or other integrations.

Not every feature is included in every plan or deployment. Features may depend on compatible chargers, connectivity, configuration, commercial arrangements and third-party systems. Product pages and demonstrations describe capabilities; the applicable order form or written proposal defines the services purchased by a business customer.

5. Website use

You may use the website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, misrepresent your identity, scrape or copy protected material without permission, or use the website in a way that violates any law or another person’s rights.

6. Business CMS customers and account security

A business customer must provide accurate information, keep authorised-user details current, and ensure that each user is permitted to access the CMS. The customer is responsible for safeguarding credentials, controlling access within its organisation and notifying Savekar promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

The customer must use the CMS only for chargers, locations and data that it is authorised to manage. It is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights, permissions and approvals for the charging equipment, station location, electricity supply and data it submits to the platform.

Fees, subscription period, included features, support commitments and any service-level arrangements for a business customer are those set out in the applicable written proposal, order form or signed agreement. Unless specifically agreed in writing, the website does not create a guaranteed uptime commitment or an obligation to provide a particular support response time.

7. WhatsApp-based charging

Where the WhatsApp charging flow is enabled, a driver may scan a station or charger QR code, open the relevant WhatsApp interaction, follow the displayed steps, complete the required payment and receive available session updates. The exact flow and controls may vary by station and deployment.

You must check that you have selected the intended station or charger and that the displayed amount, tariff or charging option is correct before confirming a transaction. Starting a session may depend on successful payment confirmation, charger connectivity, charger availability and the configuration of the station.

A driver should use the available session controls to stop charging when required. If the session cannot be started or stopped, or the displayed status appears incorrect, contact the Station Administrator using the station’s published contact details or contact Savekar using the details in these Terms. Do not attempt to tamper with or physically interfere with charging equipment.

8. Station operations and responsibilities

Savekar provides the digital platform and facilitates charging-session management and payment workflows. Physical station access, local site rules, charger hardware, electrical supply, parking conditions, safety at the site and station-specific operating decisions remain dependent on the relevant Station Administrator, owner or operator.

For station-specific issues and first-line customer complaints, the relevant Station Administrator is the primary point of contact. In a white-label deployment, the White-label Partner and/or the relevant Station Administrator is responsible for handling local customer complaints. Savekar will assist with matters that relate to its CMS, platform functionality, payment records or refund initiation as appropriate. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Tariffs, fees and payments

The applicable charging tariff, amount, plan or fee may be set by the Station Administrator, White-label Partner or business customer through the CMS, according to the relevant service arrangement. You should review the tariff or amount presented for the selected station and transaction before proceeding. Different stations, plans and charging arrangements may have different prices or restrictions.

Razorpay is used to process payments. Depending on the applicable deployment, payment proceeds may be received by Savekar or by the relevant White-label Partner. Payment confirmation, settlement and related processing are subject to the Payment Provider, UPI app, bank and payment network involved. Their own terms may also apply.

You must not submit a UPI PIN, one-time password, card security code or other payment authentication secret to Savekar through WhatsApp, email or support messages. Enter payment credentials only within the relevant bank, UPI or payment-provider interface.

10. Subscriptions, free charging and plan limits

Where a business subscription, user subscription, e-mandate, free-charging arrangement or plan-based allowance is offered, the applicable fee, validity, usage limits, renewal, cancellation and any additional conditions are determined by the offer, plan or CMS configuration shown or agreed for that service. The applicable plan details or written agreement form part of these Terms.

Where recurring payments or e-mandates are used, the mandate and payment processing are handled through Razorpay and/or the relevant bank or payment institution. Requests to cancel or change a mandate must be made through the available cancellation route or according to the applicable plan instructions. Cancelling a mandate may not by itself resolve an outstanding amount for a service already provided.

11. Customer model and non-refundable subscriptions

Savekar provides services to Charge Point Operators (CPOs), Station Administrators, and business customers under subscription and platform service plans. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement or order form, all subscription and platform service fees paid to Savekar by CPOs and station owners are non-refundable.

Savekar does not directly charge or manage refund policies for individual EV drivers or end-users using charging stations operated by independent CPOs. Any refunds, billing adjustments, or session dispute resolutions for end-user charging transactions are handled directly by the relevant CPO or Station Administrator, or as specified in their local station terms.

12. Records and transaction verification

Savekar maintains charging-session and transaction records for service operation, payment reconciliation, support and dispute resolution. These records may be used to check the session status, energy delivered, tariff, payment and any eligible refund. Charger readings, network delays or technical faults may affect the timing or completeness of status updates; where a discrepancy arises, Savekar and/or the Station Administrator may review the available system and transaction records.

13. Third-party services and integrations

The service may depend on third-party systems, including WhatsApp/Meta, Razorpay, UPI apps, banks, internet or mobile networks, charger manufacturers, connectivity services and, where enabled, partner APIs or OCPI roaming networks. Savekar does not control all aspects of those services, and an outage or change in a third-party service may affect the charging flow or platform functionality.

Where a partner API or roaming integration is enabled, relevant charger, session, status or settlement information may be exchanged with the connected operator or network to provide the feature. Any service-specific integration terms agreed with a business customer or partner continue to apply.

14. Intellectual property

Savekar and its licensors retain all rights in the website, CMS, software, product materials, branding, design, documentation and related intellectual property, except for rights expressly granted in writing. Subject to these Terms and any separate agreement, Savekar grants an authorised customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the subscribed services for its intended business purposes during the applicable subscription or contract period.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code from, resell or create derivative works from the platform except to the extent permitted by law or expressly authorised in a written agreement.

15. Availability, maintenance and changes

Savekar aims to keep its website and platform operational but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability unless an applicable written service-level agreement expressly provides otherwise. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, internet or mobile-network failures, charger connectivity, electricity outages, third-party service interruptions, security events or circumstances outside Savekar’s reasonable control.

Savekar may update, modify or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance or product development. For business customers, material service changes and any contractual notice requirements will be handled according to the applicable written agreement.

16. Suspension and termination

Savekar may suspend or restrict access to the website or CMS where reasonably necessary to address security risks, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, material misuse, non-payment or a material breach of these Terms or a relevant service agreement. Where reasonable and legally permitted, Savekar will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Business-customer termination rights, notice periods and fees are governed by the applicable written agreement.

17. Disclaimer and liability

The website and services are provided subject to these Terms and the specific commitments made in an applicable written agreement. Savekar does not guarantee that every charger, network, payment channel or third-party service will be available at all times, or that every connection, status update or transaction will be free from error.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Savekar is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including an interruption in electricity supply, physical damage to a charger, inaccurate information supplied by a station or user, or a failure of an independent third-party network or payment provider. The relevant Station Administrator remains responsible for station-specific matters described in Section 8.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability arising from fraud or any mandatory statutory protection. Any negotiated liability limits for business customers must be set out in their written agreement.

18. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Savekar Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms. By using the relevant service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that Policy and any service-specific privacy notice. A station owner, Station Administrator or White-label Partner may also provide a separate notice for data it controls.

19. Events outside reasonable control

Savekar is not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, fire, flood, severe weather, government action, utility failure, telecom or internet outage, cyber incidents affecting third-party infrastructure, labour disruption or failure of a third-party service. This clause does not remove a consumer’s mandatory legal rights.

20. Changes to these Terms

Savekar may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, business arrangements, legal requirements or payment processes. The updated version will be published on the website with a revised date. Where applicable law or a separate customer agreement requires notice or consent, Savekar will follow that requirement. Continued use after an effective update may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory laws that apply to a particular user or transaction. Any jurisdiction clause, including whether disputes should be brought before courts in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights or access to a forum that applicable law requires.

22. Contact and complaints

For platform, payment or general service queries, contact Savekar using the details below. For a complaint about a particular station, the first point of contact is the relevant Station Administrator; for a white-label deployment, contact the White-label Partner or the station administrator responsible for that location.
