Website, web CMS and WhatsApp-based EV charging services

Version 1.0 | Prepared: 11 October 2026

Notice: This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data across Savekar website, CMS, and WhatsApp-based EV charging services.

1. Introduction

Savekar EV Charging Solution ("Savekar", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and aims to handle personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data when you visit savekar.com, contact us, use our web-based charge point management system (CMS), or use a charging service that operates through our platform, including WhatsApp-based charging.

Please read this Policy together with any service-specific terms, plan terms or notices shown to you when you use a particular service. Where a white-label partner or charging-station operator provides the service under its own brand, it may also provide a separate privacy notice that applies to its processing of personal data.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

For this Policy, the contact details supplied for Savekar are:

  • Savekar EV Charging Solution
  • Flat/Door No. 19, Parshv Building, Pragati Nagar, Shobhagpura, Anushree Vatika Road, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India
  • Phone: +91 9588033707
  • Email: savekarev@gmail.com

Contact us using these details if you have a privacy question, want to make a request relating to your personal data, or wish to raise a privacy-related complaint. We will direct your query to the appropriate team.

3. When Savekar acts for itself or for a station partner

Savekar decides how to use personal data for purposes such as responding to website enquiries, administering its business relationships, operating its own service communications, and managing payment or refund records handled through its platform.

For some CMS and white-label services, a charge point operator, station owner, station administrator or white-label partner may decide how end-user information is used for its charging business. In those cases, Savekar may process certain information on that customer’s behalf to provide, maintain or support the platform. The station operator or partner may be the appropriate contact for matters about the station, its tariff, physical access, or local customer complaints. The precise roles depend on the service arrangement and applicable law.

4. Personal data we may process

The information processed depends on how you interact with Savekar and which services are enabled. It may include the following categories:

4.1 Website visitors and business enquiries

  • Information you submit through contact, enquiry, demo or support channels, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address and the contents of your enquiry.
  • Communication records needed to respond to a question, arrange a demonstration, or manage a business relationship.

4.2 CMS customers and administrators

  • Contact and account details supplied by a business customer or authorised user, such as name, phone number, email address, organisation, role and account/access information, where those details are collected by the configured CMS.
  • Operational information relating to the managed charging network, including charger identifiers, station details, connection status, diagnostics, fault events, configuration, energy readings and administrator actions. Some of this information may relate to a business or device rather than an identifiable person.

4.3 WhatsApp-based charging

  • The customer profile information Savekar has identified for this flow is the user’s name and phone number.
  • To operate charging, the CMS also maintains charging-session and transaction records. Depending on the transaction, these may include a charger or station reference, session identifier, start and stop times, energy delivered, amount or tariff, payment status, transaction reference, session status and refund-related information.
  • Meta processes messages and related technical information through WhatsApp Cloud API as part of delivering the WhatsApp service. WhatsApp and Meta handle their own processing under their applicable terms and privacy notices. This Policy does not claim that Meta retains no message or metadata.

4.4 Payments and refunds

  • Razorpay processes payments for the applicable charging or related transaction. Savekar may receive transaction details needed to confirm, reconcile or refund a payment, such as the amount, order or transaction reference, payment status, date/time and refund status.
  • Full payment authentication credentials, such as a UPI PIN or one-time password, should be entered only in the relevant bank, UPI or payment-provider flow and must not be sent to Savekar through WhatsApp or other messages.

4.5 Website security and technical information

  • When you use the website or CMS, systems may generate technical logs needed for security, troubleshooting and service operation. Depending on the services configured, these may include an IP address, browser/device details, request timestamps and pages or functions accessed.
  • The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security and performance. Any analytics or advertising technologies actually enabled on the live website should be identified in the cookie notice and configured in accordance with applicable requirements.

5. Why we use personal data

We use personal data only for purposes connected with our services and business, including to:

  • respond to enquiries, arrange demonstrations and communicate with business customers;
  • provide and maintain the CMS and related charger-management functions;
  • identify charging stations and facilitate the start, monitoring, stopping and recording of charging sessions;
  • process, confirm, reconcile and administer payments and refunds through Razorpay or the relevant payment channel;
  • provide transaction updates and service-related messages through WhatsApp where the flow is used;
  • respond to complaints, investigate failed sessions, resolve disputes and provide customer support;
  • maintain system integrity, troubleshoot faults, protect accounts and services, and detect suspected fraud or misuse;
  • meet legal, regulatory, accounting, record-keeping or lawful request obligations; and
  • maintain and improve the reliability and functionality of our website and services.

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent or rely on another legally permitted ground for the relevant processing. Where personal data is provided voluntarily to obtain a requested service or answer an enquiry, we use it for that purpose and for closely related service administration, subject to applicable law.

6. Who may receive personal data

We share personal data only where reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, as permitted by law, or as directed by the relevant customer or user. Current core service providers and recipients include:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting and database infrastructure used for Savekar’s platform data.
  • Meta WhatsApp Cloud API: delivering and receiving WhatsApp communications used in the charging flow.
  • Razorpay: processing payments and related refund transactions.
  • The relevant station owner, station administrator or white-label partner: access to information reasonably needed to manage a station, administer the charging service or respond to a station-related complaint.
  • Immediate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners: because Savekar does not sell chargers directly, customer leads and inquiries regarding charger hardware are shared with immediate OEM partners to coordinate hardware supply, installation, and integration services.

If OCPI roaming, a partner API or another network integration is enabled for a particular deployment, relevant charger, session, status or settlement information may be exchanged with the connected operator or integration partner where necessary for that feature. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a valid request from a competent authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data as a commercial product.

7. Payment providers and WhatsApp

Razorpay and the relevant UPI app, bank or payment institution handle parts of the payment journey under their own terms and privacy notices. Savekar does not control their systems, payment approval decisions or banking timelines. Meta operates WhatsApp and processes data under its own terms and privacy notices. You should review the applicable notices of those providers for details of their separate processing.

Do not send payment passwords, UPI PINs, one-time passwords or other payment authentication secrets to Savekar. Savekar support will not ask you to disclose such credentials in a WhatsApp chat or email.

8. Data storage, security and international processing

Savekar’s platform database is hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use reasonable measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should protect their account credentials and devices.

Our service providers may process information in the locations needed to deliver their services. This Policy should not be read as a promise that every record is stored exclusively in India.

9. How long we retain personal data

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, support, security, payment reconciliation, dispute handling and legal record-keeping, subject to applicable law.

Under Savekar’s current stated practice, charging-session and transaction records are retained without a fixed deletion period. Customer profile information, including a name and phone number, may be retained while required to operate the service and to maintain related transaction or support records.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law and any valid record-keeping requirements, you may contact us to request information about personal data associated with you, seek correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where available, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise an objection or complaint about how your information is handled.

We may need to verify your identity and clarify the information or transaction involved before responding. If the information relates to a charging station or a white-label service operated by a partner, we may refer the relevant part of the request to that station administrator or partner and provide reasonable assistance.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to support core website functions, security, preferences or performance measurement. You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, the website should present an appropriate choice before those technologies are activated. The final cookie notice should match the technologies actually deployed on savekar.com.

12. Third-party websites and services

Our website or communications may link to websites or services operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own terms and notices. Savekar is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not control.

13. Children

The Savekar website and CMS are designed primarily for business customers, station operators, administrators and people seeking or using charging services. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Savekar inappropriately, contact us so that we can assess the request and take any action required by applicable law.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements. The current version will be published on the website with its latest update date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required by applicable law.
